if you’re afraid to have difficult conversations in your relationship
your relationship is not as good or as strong as you think it is
talk about boundaries, talk about hurt feelings, talk about disappointments, talk about things that need to change
not when you’re angry, not as a tool to hurt the other person in an argument
have the difficult conversations
with respect, with intention, and with purpose
or don’t
but if you choose not to
know that your choosing to allow your relationship to be superficial or move forward aimlessly
know that you’re choosing to waste your time
